EC's in Essays

<p>Ok, I read somewhere that the Essay is what shows "passion" for your EC's. Ok that makes sense and all, but now we have a problem. </p>

<p>We might have 5 EC's that we are passionate about and are sucessful in, but if we don't write an essay about them, we won't be able to evidence "passion." </p>

<p>We have 4-5 EC's and 1 Essay. How do we show passion for all of them while still writing an indepth intriguing essay?</p>

<p>In the book of Harvard accepted essays, some had nothing to do with an ec at all. I think that if the essay is a great piece of writing and shares something about the student, while passion for ec's is shown elsewhere in the application (eg. through the time committment and related accomplishments), that may be just as good.</p>
