ECs: in school or out?

<p>Do admission officers like to see extra curriculers that take place in school (like clubs) or outside of school (like volunteering at hospitals)? Which one is given more weight?</p>

<p>Look at the CA Activities section, you can list ECs taken both in and out of school. The amount of weight they will be given depends on how long you did them, what you did, accomplishments, etc., not where you did them.</p>
