ECs, Internships, Volunteer Work

Okay, for a prospective math/econ major, what do you suggest?

I'm currently a math tutor for 2 hours a week. I know this is not enough. I don't have any ideas what kind of things I can do that are related to math or economics. Any suggestions?

you can work as a bank teller. its fairly easy to get a job my friend is a bank teller and she just has her hs diploma.

What part of CA do you live in? Might be more state (of California) internships in NorCal that directly relate to economics.

If you’re interested in the private industry, it won’t really matter where you live in CA.

You can join NABE http://www.nabe.com/</a> and list that. $30 for a student.
Read about it here and here.

I will be contacting a local remittance bank tomorrow. Hopefully, they accept “volunteers” and will let me come in by 3:30pm (I think they close at 3 but they stay until night time to fix stuff. IDK)

I do think joining something like that isn’t really for a freshman college student. Actually, I prefer the private industry, as long as I get experience. I’m in Norcal, San Jose to be exact.

Banking is nice, but I’d really love stuff that would at least give me access to analysis.

I have yet to take my economics classes, but I have a Calculus 1 with an A.

OH and thanks for the link. I’m still checking it out. Appreciate it.
