Can you put down ECs etc that you are going to do (ie, signed up for, but start in say, February)? Or can you only put them down if you are involved in at the time of submission for your application?

For example, I am going on a leadership and politics trip to Ireland this spring, doing a Law Convocation Course at Georgetown next summer, and going to work for someone in England for two months in May/June. I would like to be able to put all these things down, but I don't know if I can...

If you've been accepted to the programs/it's definite you will do them, my GC says you put them with "Planned: (thing and date thing will take place)__" but you should emphasize the big things you've done already before the things you haven't done yet, unless you are already involved in a lot of pre-trip preparation (like my planned trip to japan this summer has had 3 yrs of prep meetings)

My GC says that if it doesn't apply at that school, the worst that will happen is they will ignore it, so you may as well put them.If you have a limited number of slots for ECs, you might want to focus on things you've already done
