Just a question. Am a student in Singapore, want information on my EC profile whether it makes me an attractive applicant to US univesitities (Purdue Mech engineering)

Chem–Good
English–Very good

Undergrad Major

I believe i forgot to add in
For robotics ive got about 625 hours in the 4 years attended
For shooting ive got about 300 hours for the 1.5 years attended (Our training schedules were very vigorous)
All your inputs are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I feel like Purdue would focus more on stats than EC’s so your GPA/SAT/SAT 2/AP scores will matter much more than your EC profile.
Not to say it doesn’t matter, but it’s weighted less.
Also, you don’t need 4 rec letters. I would take your math teacher and chem teacher off the list and have just 2 letters of recommendation.
EC’s are fine I think if you wanted to know.

oh thanks, I didnt put my stats here cuz i know theyve met the minimum reqs. Thanks !

SAT and GPA are vital.
What do you hope to do with your degrees? Assume that you will be returning to your country for employment.
If you expect to work in the U.S., this would be extremely difficult.
Aerospace engineering requires security clearances, if you are not a citizen, you won’t be employable.

I hope to work in commercial companies until the point where i get a green card, from which i can move on to companies which specialize in Aerospace. I believe Boeing etc do not have a strict quota on accepting international talent. However I have to make sure i do well in College to make my self more attractive as an employee.

So, you plan to work in your country, correct?
Green cards are not easy to get anymore.
