Hi!
I was wondering if having only two significant ec’s which are music (violin, orchestra, self-learning another instrument) and science clubs (math, physics, chemistry) will affect my chances. I invested all of my time in these activities and had little time for other stuff. I do have a lot of volunteering hours and have won several science awards. I was also wondering what counts as “good” or acceptable ec’s because I have done some very minor stuff that I wasn’t that into.
Thanks!

You’re fine – but don’t forget your main focus should equal colleges’ main focus: your grades and transcript rigor. My kid was an 8 season varsity athlete and learned coding and was an admin for a web community on the side for fun. She had no issues getting accepted into a variety of top engineering schools. Basically she had one “official” EC (albeit consuming) and some side “hobbies”. Hurt her not at all.
