ECs

since cornell likes a diverse student body, i was just wondering what everyone had (both rd and ed) that's not really "normal". i'm in gay straight alliance, designed my town's skatepark, i'm a first degree black belt with eight years experience... anyone else have similar stuff? i also fence and i'm left handed!

Left-handed fencers, unite!

LOL...what do you consider to be "normal"?

why don't you consider gay-straight alliance normal, i don't know if you are gay or not, but it seems like you are just adding to stereotypes, but to answer your question proabably 70% of applicants to cornell have similar "non normal" ec's

I don't think he meant that the gay-straight alliance is abnormal...it's just a concept that isn't accepted by many people in America, as demonstrated by the vote in 11 states to ban gay marriage...fortunately, I don't think many of the aforementioned people will be attending Cornell :)

sorry for the confusion; i should have picked a better word. and no, i am not gay.

I had taekwondo, baseball, trumpet, ski club founder, volunteer music teacher;and religious school back as an underclassman I dont know how normal those are except baseball and maybe trumpet, it doesn't seem like that many kids on here play instruments though

I don't really have any super unique ECs...I guess thats why I didn't get in :(
