<p>To those of you who got into top schools, what did you put down for your 7 ECs? I feel like mine are lacking passion, leadership positions and awards..</p>
<p>When I first considered applying to US schools, I have to admit I was discouraged because in my ECs, I don’t hold any official leadership positions, partly because some of the activities simply don’t lend themselves to those sorts of titles, and also because while I’d won some local awards, I didn’t have any of the major distinctions that seem to be almost a dime a dozen here on CC. </p>
<p>So the point is, don’t worry too much if you aren’t president of several clubs, or haven’t won national awards; it’s still possible to get into top schools =)</p>
