ECs

Hey all,
I am going to be applying Stanford SCEA in the fall and have questions about my ECs. I don't have much in the "traditional applicant" way but here they are

Select soccer since I was 11
Drums for 5 years, signed band for 1
Editor of student magazine (next year), member for 3
High officer in german club next year
NHS...

My question is if I should put down what I have been doing this summer, which includes doing yardwork around the neighborhood for $, playing about an hour of basketball a day, and starting doing training in muay thai kickboxing, eventually ill be going into mixed martial arts.

Also, I have gotten really into that last one (Muay Thai) lately. Would that be a good one to list and possibly do an essay about? I am worried that colleges will think that since I have only been doing it a little while that I am not that passionate about it.

Thanks

IMO-
Yes to the yardwork under employment.
No to the basketball bit.
Yes tot he muay thai. Just because you only started it recently doesn't mean you're not passionate about it.

Yes to all.

Put your most meaningful ECs down no matter when you started doing them. I, for example, had two ECs on my application that I didn't begin until Senior year, both of which I am passionate about.
