Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone could comment on how my ECs look. My first choice is Yale (applying EA), and I was wondering how my extracurriculars look. I realized I'm probably a long shot because I haven't cured cancer or ended world hunger but if anyone could comment I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading this! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I think your stats are very good for the majors you want to apply to. Especially your Boys State experience. I'm a also a fellow Boys Stater, and I've heard that colleges look highly upon Boys Staters.

How could you be the chief editor at Boy's State AND be elected to state office? Once you are on the newspaper staff you aren't allowed to run for higher office, at least not in FL.

In MN you aren't limited at all. If you get a higher office you just have to give up your lower office. Since chief editor isn't an elected position (I interviewed with the newspaper counselor), I could run for whatever I wanted. Overall I was a County Delegate, State Delegate, County Treasurer, State Auditor, and Chief Editor.
