EC's

Does being in FBLA as to being Science Society or some other club, make you look better for applying to upenn - wharton

I would assume so, due to the business background. But I don't think that it will make or break your application.

fbla is a joke... do you seriously think all the ppl in fbla are going to be business leaders.. is there then a club for future cubicle workers that predicts that you will be 80% of the workers in a business.

Do what you want to do. There must be SOMETHING you actually care about doing other than going into college. Most of these FBLA kids I know dont know the first thing about business. People do not learn business from books. You learn principles which you would then implement on the real world. Join the science society if you really care about the sciences.

I am the President of sciece society and I am thinking about starting our schools chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta

It doesn't make a difference whether you have business or non-business ECs. Non-business ECs are actually refreshing. I think as long as you can articulate your interest in business, Wharton, and Penn you're better off.
