Ec's

Most people consider EC'S as strictly school sports/clubs or community service. I was thinking about other EC'S. Heres a list and tell me if these would help for a business school or something : Active investor in the Stock market, list Net income. Even reading or winning non-scholastic contests. Any other ones good for business school or just overlooked?

I doubt active investing in the stock market and listing net income would be considered an EC, and I wouldn’t list reading as one either.

I don’t think it’s an EC, but at the same time, I don’t see any reason not to put it down if it’s important to you. I heard an anecdote recounted on CC about a kid who got into Harvard who put “Playing chess with family” as an EC. Undoubtedly, his other, more EC-ish ECs were incredibly strong, but I imagine that little blurb helped to flesh him out in a way not otherwise offered on an app.

If you make all your own investing decisions (haven’t hired anyone to tell you what to do), then yeah I’d talk about that a bit.

a custodial account where the decisions are split amongst me and the custodial guardian.
