ECU Admissions!? PLEASE

I'm a senior in high school from New Jersey, I just submitted my application to East Carolina University today.
My GPA is a 3.0 and i'm in all honors classes, my high school doesnt have AP's. My SAT is about 1650 composite, possibly going up. My high school is ranked #74 in the nation. I play competitve soccer year round, 20 hours a week. I have volunteer hours, ive done an 8 week mentorship with a doctor at the hospital, and I'm in some clubs in school such as SADD and 4-H.

Any opinions on my chances of acceptance?

And the "printed signature agreement" thing at the end of the online application, does that really need to be signed, printed, and mailed in?

It’s hard to tell with your GPA, but everything else looks good. I’m pretty sure you’ll get in if you boost your GPA. But even harder to say since your OOS. And yes you have to print out the agreement, sign it, and send it to ECU admissions.

Oh and just a question. I went on the tour last Friday and there was a bunch of people from NJ. Is ECU really popular in NJ? How did you hear about it? Just curious

i think you will get in. @saballance12 NJ is highly represented had alot of oos colleges in general.

well i have all A’s in my classes right now. but idk if my GPA will boost up any more since they already sent my transcript haha. so i guess i’m stuck between a 3.0-3.1 ish. my gpa is an 85 on the 100 point scale. but thats just because my school is really advanced like you have to test in and be accepted to even attend my high school so an 85 is actually really good at my school haha. but i hope i get in because i really really want to go.

but yeah NJ is pretty popular for ECU. i know a few people who go there now.

i think you should be fine also i would suggest sending ecu your progress report or first marking period grades since they are all A’s/

yeah i think my guidance counselor is including my courses in progress. i sent them my recommendations and my resume too. so i really hope i get in. do you go to ECU? or do you just know a lot about it?

SAT math- 560
SAT verbal- 530
SAT writing- 580

GPA 3.0 (85.5/100)
From NJ
All Honors Classes, no APs at school because it’s an academy. #74 best high school in the Nation. Devoted soccer player (20 hours a week), volunteer work, hospital mentorship. I have 3 recommendations. A good resume.
I recently got accepted to UNCG, what are my chances for ECU? they just recieved all my materials this past monday. so now im waiting, and im wondering what my chances are? any info would help thanks!

i just want another opinionn

So i applied to ecu and the pirate port application status says : decision made. And then that they are going to mail my decision to my house via usps. I was wondering when they Make a decision on the pirate port website do you know if it has to say “transcript due upon graduation” in order to know if you got accepted? If it doesn’t say that in the message on your application status did you get rejected? Because I saw some kid say his said that And he got accepted so i was just wondering if all people accepted have that on their decision made message. Thanks!

Hi, I am about to apply to East Carolina and its my top choice. I have a GPA of 4.11 but my SAT score is a 1340. I am in national honor soictey at my school and seretary of the HOSA club at my school. I am also the VP of the recycling club. I am just really nervous I wont get in

is 4.11 your weighted ur unweighted? and is your school’s gpa system out of 4.0 or 5.0? what are your individual reading, math, and writing scores on your SAT?

its a 4.1 out of 4.0 scale. My total was 1340! I really want to get into ECU its like my dream school. I live in VA though i heard it was better to apply early for out state people! but its too late i already know one girl from my school got int and 2 others want to go too! i am really scared

Does east carolina focus more on GPA or SAT scores?
