ECU Engineering? Go straight into ENG courses? Best Options? Suggestions?

I have been faced with the harsh reality that my grades are not up to par for NC State engineering. My only option now, if I want to do in state is to transfer to ECU or UNCC. I heard many good and bad things about each university. I want to go to ECU for engineering, but have read a lot of mixed reviews online regarding their engineering program. Should I go to ECU for engineering or change major! Although my grades it not up to par. I am average not too good or too bad. Kind of stuck in the middle. For people who are familiar with ECU can you please provide some insight on whether ECU’s graduates are able to find jobs. (Specifically engineering graduates, M.E.) I understand that ECU engineering is something that is started in 2004, so it is pretty recent. Compared to other engineering school in NC is ECU engineering good. I really want to get an M.E. degree. Since I have already taken CAL 1-3, Diff Eg(in progress), Phy1 and Phy 2(in progress).

If I were to go to ECU for engineering would I have to take all of the intro engineering courses, or can I take courses like Static and Dynamic. I think at the end of the day an engineering degree is an engineering degree, obviously from a better college helps in the job searching period, but in the long…

What are your thoughts on this issue. Again this issue has been bothering me for many months now.

Thank you.

@Jason01 - so you are at NCSU now and looking to transfer, or you are looking to transfer somewhere and get into engineering? Are you at CC now?
