Does anyone have any information on ECU’s ELC program and Umstead hall? I would like to know the benefits of choosing Umstead hall over the other dorms. Are the rooms bigger or better?
Umstead - the central location is great and the students really enjoy the LLC, great way to be with like minded students. It is not the newest dorm, or the oldest. Room sizes vary even in each building, so it depends.
“The Engineering LLC is housed in Umstead Hall which is centrally located near several classroom buildings, Joyner Library, engineering faculty and advising offices, dining facilities, Mendenhall Student Center, the Pirate Tutoring Center, and administrative buildings. This location allows for ease of access to student services, getting to class, meeting with faculty or advisors, or grabbing a quick cup of coffee. Students living in the ELC appreciate the convenience of living near it all!”
