Hi!!! I’m applying ED and I’m soooooooo freaked. Wellesley had been in the back of my mind since I started looking at colleges freshman year (I’ve had a poster of Green Hall above my desk for all of high school), but this summer I made it up there to visit and everything just clicked. I literally started crying during the info session because everything just felt so right. I’m hoping to get back up to campus for Discover Wellesley Weekend next month; fingers crossed! Wishing the best of luck to all other applicants as we head into application season!!!

I was wondering if you guys know if the ‘two paragraph’ supplement thing is like super strict. I have like 8 chunks rn and i like it the way it is
Hey @waronthemoon6!!! I went to the essay writing workshop the dean of admissions held at Discover Wellesley Weekend, and she said that while the word count given on the common app for the supplement doesn’t have to be followed (she actually recommended going around 500 rather than 400), they’re sort of testing how well you’re able to follow directions with that one, so they want one or two items from the Wellesley 100 and two paragraphs. I love Wellesley so much and I hope we all can be classmates next year!!! I submitted my app on Sunday. I still haven’t processed the fact that it’s there!!! They have it!!! December 5th seems forever away!!!
eek now im scared that my 360 word essay is a little scant! but I did make sure to stick with the 2 things in 2 paragraphs so there’s some hope I guess

Is it true that decisions traditionally come out the first Thursday of December at ~6:30 PM EST?
