ED 1 chances 2014

Hi guys this is my first post here...I was hoping to get some feedback on my chances at Colby College if I applied ED 1. I absolutely love the school and as soon as walked on campus I knew that it was the school for me. So here are my stats

Female
White
CT Public School

SATs: 620 (reading) 690 (math) 710 (writing) [took it once]
I have a tutor for reading and math so I'm hoping to get both of them up with the October test

GPA: 4.38 on the weighted 4 scale (I'm not sure what it is unweighted we don't get that at my school)
Course load: every class since freshman year has been honors/AP
AP classes: Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, and Spanish (4 on the chem exam)
I'm definitely in the top 10% of my class (possibly 5%) but I know from a graph I'm in the top 15/400 students

I want to be pre-med

I have around 100/150 volunteer hours

Sports- I'm not athletic at all
Indoor track- freshman and sophomore year
Outdoor track- freshman and sophomore year

I stopped sports Jr. year to start part-time nannying around 10 hours a week and I have continued that into Sr. year

I do peer tutoring weekly

Achievements:
National Honors Society
Spanish National Honors Society
Math National Honors Society
English National Honors Society
Science National Honors Society
Headmasters list all marking periods
Washington College Book award for science achievement (my school gives "book awards")

I think I'll get strong letters of recommendation and my college essay is pretty good

So do you think I have a chance of getting in?? Do interviews help?? Anyone else applying ED 1 to Colby?? Thanks in advance!!! :)

I think you’re all set! Perhaps you might want to boost up a little of your SAT I, but your school grades look great!
Also, perhaps you want to focus on one EC that you’re particularly good at, and boost it up. Colleges want to see you doing well consistently in one field, and that makes you slightly more special.

I think ED for Colby’s a little too low for you. You’ll probably get in, and perhaps you want to aim higher too!

Chance me back! Good luck.

Thanks!!

Also would applying to the experience Colby program help my chances? The October registration ends this Friday and I was thinking about applying??

Of course it would! It shows that you are dedicated to the school.

I think your gpa, rigor, and class rank are excellent. Your SATs are good and within the range. However, your extracurriculars really do not show that you have any particular passion. Do you play an instrument or have any interests that you did not mention? I think you have a good chance but may want to showcase some of your interests.
