What is the official time? You only posted that it was the 14th! I’m setting a new countdown.

I’m guessing 3pm!

New Countdown!!
[Countdown to Dec 14, 2012 3:00 PM in New York](<a href=“Time since Dec 14, 2012 3:00 pm started in New York”>Time since Dec 14, 2012 3:00 pm started in New York)

Where’d you find that date? Just curious. My internet searching skills have turned up nothing…

none of these dates have been posted on the internet yet, besides our posts on CC or previous threads from the past about ED results from previous years. the anticipation is killer!

You guys will probably find out December 14 at 3:00, that’s when they’re posting the spring transfer decisions. Good luck to everyone!

Ugh. I am literally dying. so many people find out today…

How have people found out today?

People that applied to other schools were given ed decisions yesterday. You’re still a week away.

Hahaha i know… i meant that many people at my school had found out. I am well aware of the date >.<

I’m curious, how much does applying early decision help you get in at a place like Wesleyan? Do they accept the majority of their early decision applicants?

@jm1995: The acceptance rate for early decision applicants at wesleyan ranges between 40% and 45% compared to 20% for regular decision

For those of you that got in can you post your stats with ECs and everything? thanks

I was accepted through questbridge, but.
First in family to go to college, >20,000, 31 ACT, 4.0 since my school doesn’t give GPA’s, national merit semifinalist,at least 2-4 hours of volunteer work every week for two years, 6 clubs actively involved. I go to a Math & Science school.
Anything I forgot, just ask.

I was accepted through questbridge as well. I have in the 2100s and a 3.8 UW. I also listed volunteer work and club work. I think my essays and my state helped. Honestly, Wesleyan looks at you as whole so i don’t know if this helps much.

I agree with charlieb320. In the end I think that it’s overall, and that they focus a lot less on scores than everyone thinks. Only a couple more days, you guys, don’t fret over it.

lets just wait to post stats and make one of those results threads where we can post everything!

If you are not accepted to Wes, what other colleges will you guys be applying to? I’m thinking about applying to Oberlin and Colby.

I agree with twang10. I can’t take looking at GPAs that are higher than mine right now. If not wes (gulp) i really did love oberlin when i visited. To be perfectly honest i could see myself being really happy there. other than that NYU and Bard i think.

Five more days guys!

@purplespysnail…that’s a good way to look at it. There are a number of schools that everyone can be happy and thrive at. My son is also applying ED…you all seems like great kids…good luck to everyone!
