Hi, sorry to be annoying. I would love some input on this though.
First, are my chances better if I apply ED2? I would be very happy to lock in to Carleton early, but my only hesitation is (like most people) the money. I have heard that I can get out of going if my family feels uncomfortable with the aid package. Is this true?
Carleton is TOTALLY my #1 choice - I really wish money wasn't a factor!

Ok, here are my stats...

GPA - 4.7 weighted (i've heard carleton looks at weighted)
ACT - 31 superscore
White girl from Chicago
Extra curriculars - founder & president of my school's yoga club, volunteered 2 summers in Latin America with Amigos de las Americas, started a blog that promotes female empowerment, Jewish Student Union treasurer, chamber strings & pit orchestra (all 4 years), spanish honor society.

i know these "chance me" things are kind of annoying and not always accurate I have heard, but I would love input. And input if i should apply ED2.

You look like you have a strong chance. Applying ED always gives you a bit of a leg up, because the school doesn’t have to play guessing games as to whether you will actually attend or not. Carleton graciously guarantees meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all four years, so keep that in mind.

If there is a boost this year for ED2 applicants over RD, it is probably not going to be as significant as in prior years. See this post from admissions:

I think you will get in. Your stats are good, and you have great extra curriculars. In the end, it will probably come down to your essay and recommendations. Good luck :)
