Have you received the result of Early Decision-2 for Fall 2008?

I have not yet received any information about my acceptance /rejection. If you had applied for ED-2, when are you expecting your result? Did any of your friends or relatives get accepted?

It all depends on when you have submitted the early decision agreement form. The earlier you have submitted, the more likely and earlier you will receive your decision. Colgate says ED II applications take 2-4 weeks to process.

bump!!!!!!!!!! any ED -2 acceptances???

i was deferred edii into regular decision. i re-took the act exam on feb 9th so am hoping that this helps. was anybody deferred in ed i or ii and what have you done?

I was accepted in EDII and now I think I made a mistake. Can I get out of It?

Wow I'm new and I don't know how I posted twice.

Have you gotten your financial aid package? If so say that it isnt adequate enough. Why did you apply ED2 in the first place?

naplesgirl, i was deferred ed I and the first thing i did was send an email and a letter to admissions telling them that i was upset that they had deferred me, but that i was still 100% committed to colgate. also, since i'm a theatre kid, i've been making sure to keep up my contacts within that department. just keep sending them anything new that you have and make sure they know how bad you want it.

Thanks jmarin thats a good idea.

I have received no news of acceptance/rejection yet from colgate. If we do not keep contact with the university, will we be lowering our chances of admission?

rena-itsme,

I understand your anxieties and frustrations from waiting for your decision letter - I am going through the same thing too. But don't get too concerned that you're starting to make assumptions that can't be true if you think in a logical way. All your stuff is in, and the matter is out of your hands. Let Colgate take care of your application, and be a little bit more patient. I'm sure that you will receive your letter soon. I hope that it will be a fat one!

Will they send e-mail or just postal mail?

Thanks Davie223: But the problem is, I am simply too concerned about my application(I know everyone IS, but I can't help it!) Good luck !

hey, can anyone answer LaraNotLAura's question?

re: laranotaura's question

only by mail. colgate is old school.

Oh...Thanks breckw. Then I have to wait for ages...I live in China

Golakes, I think that ED is ED, it is not based on finances. Post here what happens if you try to get out of it. BTW why are you having second thoughts and where else did you apply?

I live in Nepal! I got my colgate application acceptance mail just a week ago. How am I supposed to know whether I got in or not???
