Ed 2

Hey, I am just wondering if any ED2 applicant has received email from the admission? Last year many successful applicants got acceptance letter on Feb 7th.

What i heard of the date people get admission's letters is around Feb 15th. Also I wonder how the admission committee can process that fast. I only got the Application Complete Letter on Jan 30th. There must be many applicants.

I was just accepted today, Feb. 9th. I got a letter in the mail. They must have sent decisions out yesterday because it takes about a day for mail to get from the Bowdoin area to where I live.

Could people post their stats / whether they did or didn't submit SAT scores??

I'm so nervous! Congrats jaywalker11. I very much hope to be joining you in the fall! I hope I get mine soon... although I suppose it will take a couple of days to get all the way down to FL.

My stats? Umm...
Female, from Maine, public high school, submitted SAT scores, probably a biology major. I'm pretty sure my hook was my summer job: lobstering off of my own skiff. It turned out ot be a good essay topic, too.

I was just at Bowdoin tonight for my indoor track championship, and I'm super psyched. Best of luck to everyone!

what were the SAT scores?

Hey! Will we be notified by email or my mail? If I have not received any email by these days, does it mean that I am deferred or rejected? :(

I'm pretty sure Bowdoin only notifies by snail mail.

My SAT scores were a 2050.

Oh well that makes me happy. What were the subscores?

I submitted mine, although I'm not sure if I regret it:

Mine was
CR - 670, M-680, Writing - 790, although I applied regular decision. And I'm from MA, not ME. But ya know, at least I have a slight chance, albeit not a very good one..

I had subscores of W-720, R-690, M-640. I originally wasn't going to submit them, but I had a friend with even lower scores admitted ED1, so I decided to go for it.

Happy Admission, jaywalker.

Hey, I didn't put in my SAT Scores (700math)(620Writing)(620Verbal), but I found out today I got in ED2. I'm ranked 18 out of 260 in a moderatly competitive school, but had really strong community service stats. This just shows they look at more than just the grades.

congrats to everyone! please post your stats for us RD applicants who have to wait until April!

u should check the new thing CC put up for searching for stats

also, try ************
