Has anyone heard back yet? I'm sooo nervous and don't know if I should be expecting mail tomorrow or the next day.

I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m so nervous too! Hopefully we will hear within the next couple of days, though! Good luck!

I hope so! Good luck to you too

Thanks! :)

Anyone knows when the email decisions will be sent out?

There is no “email decision”. Decisions were submitted via snail mail yesterday.

They do not email decisions. Snailmail for the USA. Carleton’s facebook post this morning (12/12) says the decisions are in the mail.

Thanks but how about international students? Decisions also will be sent via mail?? Thatll be a long wait:(

You have an online login to check the status of your application as well, and that will be updated on December 15th at 8pm eastern time I believe

Accepted internationals should receive a Fedex envelope containing the acceptance package in about 3 business days. (Fast shipping)

I think deferred/rejected students receive mail in a slower method.

Deferred. I am devastated. I had a perfect GPA, a 31 ACT, a great interview, and great essays. I suppose it was the test scores…

Sorry you did not hear the news you were hoping for, student14567. Perhaps you will fare better during regular decision…good luck!

We’re on pins and needles here in PA. Nothing in today’s mail either.

Same here - my son is in SE PA waiting for his response - nothing today. And Monday is his 18th birthday…

We are in SE PA too…hope they both get in!

have him check his online carleton account. my son just did and there it was. accepted! good luck.

Congratulations to your son! We left a message for ours…but his school (Perkiomen School in Pennsburg) is on lockdown; apparently related to the shootings in Montgomery County).

Checked online account - rejection! Very sad son…

Awww sorry For everyone who got accepted, there’s a Facebook Carleton 2019 group that you should join.

Plenty of other good schools out there. Carleton wasn’t my number one, I wasn’t even really considering it until right before the application deadline. Good luck to your son; there is always more than one path to success
