Submitted my app the other day. Beyond scared!! All my forms are turned in, everything’s set… now for the long wait 
D just changed RD to ED today. Very excited! Yes, now for the long wait? Email? Envelope?
From what I gather from last year… they will get an email directing them to check their portal. Then they will receive a mailing as well. Good Luck!
Since the FA portion of the portals didn’t go live until the day before deadline, they extended the deadline for FA documents. What do you think the odds are that decisions will come out on time?

Oh, good point @artheart28 ! I’m hoping nothing will be delayed & everything will show up right on time. But I’d take a on-time decision and a slightly delayed FA package over the alternative.
any idea when ED decisions will come out? I know they say mid December, and last year it was December 15 which will be a Saturday this year…
I’ve been watching twitter and the portal, but haven’t seen any updates for awhile. My best guess would be sometime b/w the 15th and the 22nd. Kenyon’s semester ends at 4:30 on the 21st.
I’m so impatient to hear back!! Any other guesses as to when decisions will be released?
I think it’ll be 6pm local next friday (15th). Just told DH I was hoping it would be tonight… didn’t actually think it would, but a girl can dream.

isn’t the 15th a Saturday? Do you mean next Friday the 14th ahggg that’s so soon but also I can’t wait! And yes the pictures are sooo gorgeous

DS just came home informing me he has to go caroling w/ his team friday evening. No seriously, it’s mandatory. 8-| If this comes out friday & he’s not home… bad words
I’ve been stalking the admissions twitter and haven’t seen any posts about when decisions should be released…kinda tempted to call admissions and ask but I don’t want to bug them. It’s really hard to not know if it will be this Friday or later.
I called the bookstore today. When I told DS that I “called Kenyon”, he went high & right b/c he thought I meant the AO. So guess who WON’T be calling Admissions & waiting very impatiently by the computer!! :-h
Northwestern sent out ED today. My D didn’t apply but friends did. Was kind of hoping for an early HAPPY surprise today.
Anybody else set up ground rules for tomorrow. DS doesn’t have to wait for his dad to get home, but send a text right away! I’m not allowed to check his portal, but I am allowed to check his email & text him if the announcement comes in while he’s not home. If it does, he’s supposed to get home as soon as he can.
Oh and pizza… there has to be either Celebration or Drown Your Sorrows pizza on hand! LOL

Our daughter told us that she wants to be alone when she looks, and tell us when she’s ready. (I’m assuming that means “shortly after learning the news” and not “sometime next week”; I hope that’s a valid assumption.) She has stuff going on all afternoon and evening tomorrow, so that probably means she won’t check until after she gets home late in the evening. Meanwhile my husband and I will just be hanging around losing our minds.
