<p>I applied EA to Caltech and MIT (I was planning on applying ED to Caltech, then I realized Caltech doesn't have ED, only EA). Caltech says they mail the letters December 15. MIT is "mid-December". I posted a thread about if anyone knew when the MIT decisions were coming out, and someone said probably December 13 or 20. I hope it's Dec 20.</p>

<p>Shnee91, I've heard that for MIT, the online decisions are sometimes released ~15 minutes before they say they will be. I don't know about Duke, though. December 15 I don't think is neither the first NOR the last possible day to hear about ED/EA decisions. There are decisions that come out both before AND after December 15.</p>
<p>Shnee, I don't know about other schools, but for Barnard pretty much everyone got decisions on December 15th (they mail them), a couple of NY people got them on the 14th last year.</p>
