ED Acceptance at Barnard: Thick or Thin Envelope?

Well, Barnard will be mailing their ED letters around December 15, as I recall. Does anyone know what an acceptance looks like from the outside? A rejection or deferral? Thick or thin envelopes? Just curious…

I heard that Barnard sends their acceptance letters in big, fat envelopes through express mail. Rejection/Deferral letters come via regular mail in standard legal-sized envelopes.

Have you applied ED, too? If so, that makes two of us hoping for those thick letters next week.

Thanks, Lady Amalthea, and best of luck to you! D applied ED. Here's to both of you receiving those express mail messages.

What are your stats? I am getting so nervous!!!! I would think I have I good chance, except there are three other people applying ED from my school! Does this matter? I have a 1340 (670 on both) 29 on the ACT, top 5% of my class, with great ECs and recs. What about you guys?
