ED Acceptance Email - Update finally - Free shirt!

I was just browsing some threads about people asking if they heard anything from Cornell since mailing their $400 deposit and then checked my email right after and was coincidentally greeted with this:
(EDIT- holy crap, we get free T shirts! :p)

Dear _________,

I am pleased to once again congratulate you on your admission to Cornell University and welcome you to the Class of 2013!

Very soon, you will receive your Case for Cornell packet that will provide you with information about housing, dining, financial aid, as well as Cornell Days, our on-campus program for admitted students; the dates for Cornell Days are April 9-11, 13, 16-18, and 20.

To learn even more about Cornell, we invite you to visit our web site for admitted students: Cornell University Admitted Students - Welcome to the Hill .

If you haven't done so already, please be sure to order your free tee shirt; just follow the link on the admitted students' web site.

lol i just requested my t shirt.

Me 2! I was so excited

I should get on requesting that, it’s always been my dream to wear a Cornell shirt and actually have the chance to go to Cornell!

Though there’s one other college I was accepted to that’s currently competing with Cornell for where I want to matriculate.

Yay, free shirt! They only ask for your email address though lol. I guess all your info/address is attached to that. Wow, I can’t even begin to express my suspense at receiving that shirt in the mail. All I know is this: I’m wearing it the first day/chance that I get!!

Finally! I was so excited when I got that e-mail! The shirt looks sweet, but not as cool as the ivysport one. But i guess that it trumps it b/c its free.

What is we order it and it doesn’t fit us? How small is a “small”?

small = Adult Small. Just look at your own T-shirts and see what size you are lol =P

Ordered mine as soon as I could access the page :)

I already have a generic Cornell shirt, but I should be stocking up on some more gear during DHW.

I was accepted ed but did not receive this email. However, I was able to order a shirt with my email address. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got the t-shirt as well!!! I was so excited. Cornell 2013!!

I’m ED as well and didn’t get the email. Is that a bad sign?
Anyway, I signed up for my t-shirt! =)

i didn’t get the e-mail either lol.

you sure you didn’t get the email. The sender was undergraduate admissions. I almost deleted it b/c of the generic sender name, so make sure you didn’t.

DId anybody receive the tee shirt in the mail yet

it says allow 2-3 weeks. Its only been 2 days

oh just an update, i didn’t get the e-mail but i got a pick package in the mail the next day that had the same sheet as was e-mailed with the free shirt offer so if you didn’t get it, it’s okay.
