Hey guys I'm a junior who's gonna apply ED next year, so I was wondering if anyone knew the Early Decision Acceptance rate?

I wanna be a Deamon Deacon sooo badly!

Hey guys I'm a junior who's gonna apply ED next year, so I was wondering if anyone knew the Early Decision Acceptance rate?

I wanna be a Deamon Deacon sooo badly!

As of last year dead on 50%.

Thanks! are you a student there right now?

Always check out the Common Data Set for admissions information. Last year (2011-2012), 762 ED applications were submitted and 323 were accepted which translates to 42% for ED applications. Out of ALL applications, 9869 applications were submitted and 3933 applications were accepted for 39.85%. So ED does not substantially increase chances of acceptance at WFU.

I’m an accepted ED student for the Class of 2017. The common data set is definitely a more accurate number than mine! My bad! I know they often advertise ED as 50/25/25, but they can stretch their own numbers. @Raza123, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll gladly give you my opinion!

So if the acceptance rate for ED is just 2 percentage points higher than RD, is it worth it applying ED or should I apply RD senior year after first semester with a slightly higher GPA.
Thank you!
