<p>i just really wanted Barnard and got accepted… without FA.
well everything looked perfect when i applied.</p>
<p>but unexpectedly, my family’s economic situation has been really bad …oh my…almost on the verge actually.
i know i was so foolish. now, i don’t think i can afford to go Barnard… especially considering prices in New york city.</p>

<p>You have to contact them as soon as possible and let them know of this situation.</p>

<p>I'm so sorry to hear that. The best thing you can do is contact the school. They may be able to offer you some sort of financial aid package, due to your circumstances.</p>
<p>I would ask about FA, as saxophonegirl suggested. My family's finances are abysmal, so I applied for massive FA regular decision to all my schools and was unable to do ED for that exact reason. So, I feel your pain. :( If nothing can be done, well, best of look at another school that can give you a good package.</p>

awww... how cruel this fate is!! but i'll try to be positive..
