I'm planning to apply Early Decision to Tufts. So I need to fill out the ED agreement prior to submitting my application. But I was wondering if I could submit the ED agreement by paper rather than doing it online because it requires the signature from my guidance counselor. If paper submission is possible, where can I find the form? Is it on the common application website?

Thank you!

Yes, it's on the website. Click the "download forms" tab. I don't think you need to submit it prior to your application, as long as everything gets in before the ED deadline.

thats what im doing..however i jsut recently tried submitting my entire app...but commonapp prevented me from doing so saying my online ED agreement was yet to be signed by my counselor and sent...but i am sending it via the mail....so i have been trying find help about this

I had the same problem but I found the solution!! :D
You have to enlist your guidnace (if your applying common app online)
Go to the School Form section of the online common app.
then click "invite" school officials
then add your counselor's email address and name
then, your counselor will get an eamil which will lead him/her to the link of the ED form.
Then, all he/she needs to do is sign the ED agreement (by typing in their names).
That's pretty much it:D

noghi_14,
i tried that...problem is, my counselor hasnt been getting the email. I have tried sending it many times and it never comes up. I have also tried emailing it to my parent so that she can sign it too but it wont show up in her email either....so i have to use the paper version

How do I get my parent/legal gaurdian to sign my ed agreement??

@noghi: Download the form here – https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/DownloadForms.aspx
My son submitted his ED agreement on paper last year – no problem whatsoever. Writing your Common App ID on the form will make it easier to match up with your application.

@matrix: Um… print it out and hand it to them along with a pen? If you mean, how do you get them to agree to sign it, I’d recommend you post some details of your situation in the Parents Forum.
