Hey everyone, I applied ED SEAS at Penn last week, and I'm wondering how long it'll take for them to set up an interview with me (If possible). Also, I don't know how often they give interviews for international students, seeing as I'm from Canada.

I also applied ED and want to know if anyone has recieved their interviews yet. On the website it said apply by October 15th to better your chances of recieving one. I applied by that date so I am really hoping I get one! Does anyone know how much it helps your chances of acceptance?

do they contact us for an interview or do we contact them?

(also applied ED to wharton)

I think it really depends on where you live. The alumni will email you–I sent my application in on November 1st, and got an email two or three days ago from a local alumni which was pretty crazy. I don’t know how it works for students in other countries though.

I applied on November 1st to Wharton and was notified yesterday, November 8th, by an alumni. My interview is a week from tomorrow. I am so excited! Does it help your chances on getting in?

Some applicants never get an interview if an alumnus is not available near his/her hometown. It really doesn’t adversely affect your chances.

i submitted my app on oct 31, ed wharton, and got an interview call yesterday… i also live in philly
