I am applying ED to Dartmouth (first choice, obviously). However, I also want to apply Early Action to Notre Dame. Is this not allowed?? I thought it was but some people say that I cannot do this. Help!

I don't know what Dartmouth's requirements are but I would encourage you not to apply EA at other schools. Get your response from Dartmouth, since you have to go there if you get in anyways, and then apply if you get waitlisted or don't get in. That way you save money and it helps your fellow applicants.

Again, I don't know the rules with Dartmouth's ED, but read those first. Even if it is allowed though, I just think it is better to not do it, but that is me.

I'm fairly sure that Dartmouth allows students to apply early action to other schools, since it won't affect their decision...it's binding so you'll have to go if your admitted. Notre Dame doesn't have any problem with you applying ED anywhere. Irish68178 is right in saying that you'll save money if you wait to hear from dartmouth first before you apply ea to ND. but your best bet is to call the admissions office at Dartmouth ASAP just to double check...
