EA decisions are Dec 10

congratulations guys!! are you all soo excited? i cant wait until december 10th!

ahhh i feel like december tenth is so far away!!! im kind of nervous… i have so many questions. have you guys heard all the rumors about it being all about appearances then people hating it when they finally go? i hope that isnt true b/c i love it.

ive heard those rumors too and im also a little worried…but the two people i know who go there absolutely love it!!

yeah thats true! i know one person who loved it but just left b/c they didnt have her major so that makes me feel better…plus im from VA too and im not unused to the small environment with school and stuff.

My daughter is a student at HPU in her first semester. She has been home only twice–fall break and Thanksgiving (she left just a few hours ago, going back). I am glad to say that she loves it.
It has been a great fit for her. She has made a great group of friends. All of whom are planning to return next semester. Her professors have been challenging and engaging. She has put her hours in the library but has found time for fun as well.
We are very pleased with her choice.

I applied EA too and December 10th is also my birthday! I guess it will either be a really good birthday or really bad! Has anyone turned in scholarship app yet?

i didn’t do the scholarship app…the representative for my state visited my school and he said they call you with you acceptance or if you get declined…that makes me nervous.

collegestresser, I would suggest you apply for the scholarship…it can’t hurt and it may even help. You still have time. If you’re selected as a candidate, they invite you down for an interview 1 weekend in Feb… My son went and had a great time. He didn’t end up getting alot of money but every little bit helps.

momk: would you mind posting your son’s stats that he had for the scholarship that he got. I’m wondering if my son will qualify for any money.

Thanks

are the decisions available online?

oops-just read the postcard saying app is complete-and decision will be by mail and online

Accepted today!!!

EA

Congrats-were you notified by mail?

That is wonderful!!! You are the first person that I know that has received their notification for Early Action, maybe we will all go home tonight to good news!! Did you receive your notification by mail, email or phone?

and congratulations!!!

question for anyone: i applied early action and when reading over my essay realized i made a minor typo (typed R instead of E because they are right next to each other on the keyboard) and i’m so nervous that it will affect my acceptance. will this hurt my chances?? i’ve been so stressed about it

I just got my letter today!
Accepted!
