From AP Calculus BC teacher and AP Physics C teacher.

Your objective factors are great. Your ECs are thin - no depth of activities, little leadership, one-dimensional (math/science oriented). Put extra effort in to your essays since this might offset the ECs somewhat.

The Duke adcoms list the standard six factors:
-Academic performance (GPA, class rank)
-Academic rigor
-Test scores
-ECs
-Essays
-Letters of Recommendation

You have the first three in good shape - I wouldn’t even worry about retaking the Chem SAT II. The last two are still TBD. How much weight will they place on ECs? Your guess is as good as anyone’s.

Something to look at is how other applicants from your school have fared - look at Naviance if possible. ED will help a bit, but I believe this is generally overemphasized.

Duke does not give any preference for in-state (althought Carolina obviously will).

Great stats, although you kinda come across as the stereotypical asian with high tests scores and a huge math-science focus

Trinity or Pratt?
