has anyone over here applied to grinnell in ED? I really love that place and am praying that i get in. sadly, i have this uncomfortable feeling that i'll be deferred)

I applied ED to Grinnell as well. I'm hoping I get in to! (considering all my friends got into their ED schools). I wonder when we find out. I know it's supposed to be today, but there's a thing on their website where you log in and it says Check Admissions Status (currently not available). I wonder if they'll make that available.

I got in! The notification is available online! sign in to pioneer web and go to view admission status. Best of luck, hope to see you this fall!

chubbs12, i just realised that you're the same person in both threads... lol

I GOT IN TOO!!!! I guess I'll see you this fall as well!

How does ED work with knowing financial aid and whether you can work things out? That is, are you legally committed to go to the school, e.g. Grinnell if you get ED then find out that the financial aid granted you is not sufficient for you to be able to afford it?

@ anuraagb -- what were your stats?
