i submitted my common application to a school online before the 11/01 deadline and FORGOT somehow to submit my supplement... i realized this today and submitted it. how much will this hurt me???

contact admissions office to find out

you "forgot" to submit the supplement? ya,ok good luck to you.

Definitely contact the college. If they do not accept it, you can still change it to regular app.

i've tried emailing but at this time, they receive too many emails and don't respond personally. i've received an email stating that they received my app and on the common app website it says both my common app and supplement were downloaded on 11/04. on their site it says that they do not process all of the apps immediately because there are so many so it does take time. any chance i lucked out?

call the admissions office...

it shouldn't be too big of a deal, if it was an honest mistake. call to be sure, but i wouldn't sweat over it.

I'd assume the best to be frank. They aren't sitting in the mailroom shoveling every item with a Nov 2 postmark into the incinerator. It's pretty obvious that you only made a mistake since you got the rest of your items in. Right now, they are busy creating files for everyone. Even if they've gotten to yours, they'll still begin the file, assuming that other items will arrive.

I think there were fifty posts these past weeks wondering if the teachers recs/GC recs/transcripts HAD to have the Nov 1 postmark too. The answer is no. The admissions workers are human and actually, really want other humans to be admitted to their schools... LOL
