<p>The first quarter of my school ends next week. I applied Early Decision to NYU. My guidance counselor told me she already submitted everything that she needed to submit. Does this mean they won't see my first quarter grades?</p>
<p>for most school, the decision come out before the semester ends..so..unless you are defered, they wont..</p>
<p>it depends. IF NYU is on the fence about your application, they would probably contact your GC and ask him/her to fax over your first marking period report card.</p>
<p>About half of the colleges will call and ask for first quarter grades for ED applicants. I don't know what NYU's approach is.</p>
<p>NYU doesn't require nor ask for senior year grades at all, unless they are concerned with your performance. But no, it's not required as a part of their admissions process.</p>
