ED applicants and geographic diversity

Hi -- I am new to the board. I applied ED to CMC, and I was wondering about the website. I recieved a login name and password, but when I go to the site there is nowhere to login. My friend applied to yale, and she had to set up an online account-- am I missing something?

also, how much does geographic diversity count? I am from new orleans

uh i think they should have given you the address to log in with. that's what i recall anyway. if you call the admissions office, they would be happy to help you out. it may also be that the website basically doesn't exist until they send out the ED decisions. which is in a few days, right? good luck...i applied ED too.
I htink they take it into consideration....judging from the people i've met and the random places they've come from, they're def trying to attract people from different parts of the country. Lots of kids here are from California...Oregon...Washington...Arizona, etc. But among the people I know...they come from Texas, Florida, Georgia, Boston, Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, New York....quite the array.

man so nervous right now, applied ed and this has been like the slowest week of my life. Anyways i hope that the fact im from illinois help's out, really, im scared as hell right now as im sure are most of the rest of u.
