<p>ugh.. long story.. my mom works there and she hates the fact that i applied to Penn ED and not Tufts ED cause 'i lost my advantage and ill end up being rejected and shell end up having to pay for a university that wont be any better than tufts which is a waste of money..'</p>
<p>i dont just hate tufts cause shes forcing me to apply.. i hate it cause i hate the campus.. i hate the people.. i hate the atmosphere and i hate how its like 2 seconds from my house.. but the fact that shes forcing me to apply and that weve gotten in so many fights over it.. makes me hate it more</p>

<p>I've lived in Alabama my entire life and am ready to LEAVE the South. For 4 years at least. However, my dad wants me to go to Vanderbilt...two hours away from me.</p>
<p>LOL. Are you Jewish dw? ;) What a terrible thing for your mom to say. If you don't like Tufts, don't apply. Your mother can't control where you apply, and she definitely can't force you to apply ED anywhere..</p>

<p>I've never visited Tufts before, but I seem to always hear mixed things about it. I have actually though about applying their ED II but i dunno know. is the campus not much like a campus? are the people there not friendly? are they rude and arrogant? i know the education is great, but besides that, i don't know what to expect from it!</p>

<p>umm wombat.. id suggest you consult someone with a more objective view.. personally i hate it.. but that is not to say the campus is really that ugly.. its just not my style.. regarding the people.. i just feel like its not a very social place.. but if you like crowding around a tv and just watching a movie / staying in on a friday night.. then tufts would be perfect.. its all a matter of preference</p>
