<p>You're applying to CAS? I would have thought Stern since you have the whole business thing going on (this is to the OP).</p>

<p>Well I'm not paying $65 and spending a month on my application to get rejected from Stern. And hey if I change my mind and really feel like doing finance, then I can always transfer internally.</p>

<p>in my opinion you should have tried for Stern. I've heard about NYU rejecting people from Stern but offering them CAS instead.</p>

<p>No one should ever count on internally transferring to Stern. It happens so rarely as to be nearly impossible. If you can't get in as a freshman, you shouldn't plan on Stern.</p>

<p>katsy, NYU does not reject people from Stern and offer them CAS instead. It doesn't happen.</p>

<p>E.D. letters usually start arriving around the 13th.</p>
