ED Applications for Wake Forest

Go to the wake website and look for the school report http://static.wfu.edu/files/pdf/admissions/secondary.school.report.pdf
I am in the same boat and just looked up the form and had my S counselor fill it out and mail it in.

Honored and excited to have received my acceptance last Thursday!! It took just over three weeks. My school submitted everything on 9/17, heard back 10/17! Letter dated 10/2. I can’t wait to attend Wake!!

stats?

Still not a word from Wake after almost two months. Anyone out there on the West Coast, how long did it take you to hear back from WF?

@sga5353 Congratulations on your acceptance! Go Deacs!

Here are Wake Forest’s Common Data Set (CDS) numbers for Class of 2021, entering in Fall 2017. (Most recently published.) I have calculated as a percentage, as they only shared numbers. Note they do not break down ED1 vs. ED2. Wake’s acceptance rate for ED continues to get higher (44% for Class of ‘21.) Here is the link to the full set of numbers (also shows average test scores, class rank, what they consider most important in admissions, etc

Class of 2021 / Entering Fall 2017:
Total Applications: 13,071
-ED: 1,842
-RD: 11,229
Total Admitted: 3,604 (28% admitted
 3,604 of 13,071)
-ED Admitted: 815 (44%
 815 of 1,842)
-RD Admitted: 2,789 (25%
 2,789 of 11,229)
Freshman Enrollment – Class of ‘21: 1,349
-ED: 815* (60% of freshman class
 815 of 1,349)
-RD: 534* (40% of freshman class
 534 of 1,349)
(*Note: The ED / RD breakdown is not directly shared in the CDS numbers; rather, it is calculated with the assumption that all 815 admitted ED actually enrolled, leaving the reminder of the freshman class as RD (1349 - 815 = 534. Assuming a handful of ED’s didn’t enroll, the number of RD’s in freshman class would rise slightly.)

If you got in ED, let me know if you’re interested in getting in touch. Would love to talk to other ‘23’s.

I’m currently a freshman at Wake and applied RD, feel free to message me or post here if you guys have any specific questions:)

stats?

I applied 9/26, heard back today (10/22) , and the letter was dated 10/16.

My son got his ED acceptance today. Submitted app on 8/31, school finished their part on 9/24.

Stats: ~3.6 gpa which is around top 10-15% of class. Catholic HS with a different type of grading scale and they don’t publish exact ranks.
SAT: 1490
ACT: 33 (34 if they superscore)
Visited the campus a couple times and fell in love with it.

My daughter received her ED acceptance today. Submitted app on 8/15, but her school didn’t finish their part until 9/27. Go Deacs!

stats?

She had a 32 ACT, 4.5 weighted GPA, 3.9 unweighted, rank of 11%, full IB curriculum with some AP electives

Is it typical to get a thank you email from your interviewer? Just checking to see if that is a good sign
