AHHH OMG 2%
we're all gonna die.
haha.

:P thats all the increase?? surprising...

how did i miss that article??

rofl Yale still has like...over 1000 more applicants than we do.
Even when theirs went down 14%

Yeah, but we all know which college is more awesome =)

phew!! i was afraid of a HUGE jump :)

same here... i'm still surprised where the 13% drop kids from yale have gone... i hope not harvard..

good thing too, because they are increasing the admission number cuz they just opened up whitman college

i was expecting much worse...im quite relieved

ya lol, i guess we all overestimate the significance of P'ton taking first place in the USN rankings :)

now I can sit back and see what happens....

I am one of those 2,275 kids. Somehow knowing that fact makes me happy. It feels like I made a difference and made it 2,275, rather than 2,274 (without me).

Okay, I'm odd, I know =p

hey oasis, not weird at all, i think like that aswell!!!!!

so if the ed acceptance rate doesn't change, 614 students will get in early~
hope we'll all be among those 614~!

wow, ED applicants in my area (around Rochester NY) went 750% from 2 last year to 15 this year
ahhhhhhh!

I'm also relieved. 2% isn't that large at all.

Yeah, what a nice surprise! See, all that worrying for nothing (well, not really, but you know what I mean).

I think RD apps will go up alot more though...

yay for only 2%!!!

perhaps those 14% from yale wanted to take advantage of harvard's last year of early admissions, especially because it is non-binding early action (vs. Princeton's binding early decision)
