ED at Bates

S is lacrosse player accepted ED1 at Bates. Thrilled!

Congratulations!

Congrats Rye… Wonderful school!

Our S1 seriously considered accepting a slot offer at Bates for football… but opted for Trinity, instead. Can’t go wrong with a NESCAC education :)

Enjoy the rest of his Senior Year~

Thanks very much. I agree about the NESCAC. There is no bad choice!

Bravo! A great way to start the new year :)

congrats !

Congrats, ryelax and family! I hope you’ll hang around CC for a few more years. There are so many questions about the DIII process for athletes. It seems so much more convoluted than some of the other divisions, and the highly selective academic colleges like Bates are particularly hard nuts to crack. There’s probably still time to order Bobcat-wear before Christmas :)

Thank you very much. We found that the key is maintaining a direct and honest dialogue with both the coach and admissions staff. The greater your visibility, the better your chances of success.

Congrats! While I was totally unable to compete in any college sport, I spent the best 4 years of my life at Bates, and I got a great start in life there! Go Bobcats!
