<p>-Installed recycle bins in my community. Now, 5,000+ houses have access to a recycle bin.</p>

<p>-Played Piano (9th-12th): Performed in school and community events. Taken ABRSM 1st and 2nd grade examination. Planning to take 3rd in Oct.</p>

<p>-Economics. I think that these departments are VERY competitive in Brown and Northwestern...and my essay partly talks about my passion for economics.</p>

<p>Not top of class, average (for them SATs), Indian, no stand out ECs–I’d try NU ED.</p>

<p>I don’t think you’ve got a great chance at Brown, so, yes, Northwestern. Have you considered University of Chicago? They have an absolutely unbelievable economics program. THe only problem is that you’d need to rewrite your essay to be a little more quirky and imaginative…and also to fit one of their weird essay prompts. If you’re the quirky intellectual sort, you would LOVE it. It was a little too cerebral for me when I visited.</p>
