<p>-Installed recycle bins in my community. Now, 5,000+ houses have access to a recycle bin.</p>

<p>-Played Piano (9th-12th): Performed in school and community events. Taken ABRSM 1st and 2nd grade examination. Planning to take 3rd in Oct.</p>

<p>-Indian Dance: Performed at school and community events.</p>

<p>Intended Major</p>

<p>-Economics. I think that these departments are VERY competitive in Brown and Northwestern…and my essay partly talks about my passion for economics.</p>

<p>Please give me an <em>honest</em> opinion on whether I have a good chance at Brown or Northwestern if I apply early. If yes, which one? THANKS! </p>

<p>You would almost definitely get into Northwestern ED and very possibly get into Brown ED, but don’t pick the university you’re most likely to get into… you’ll be sad in the end.</p>

<p>YES! Both Brown and Northwestern are highly selective. You need to have a good range of safety and match schools in addition to your reaches.</p>

<p>Northwestern and Brown have some similarities – they are about the same size, located in urban areas, excellent academics, attractive campuses that are well integrated into the community – but there are many differences. Compared to Brown, Northwestern has more graduate schools, a more structured curriculum, and school sports are a much more important component of student life. What do you want in college? We can’t decide that for you.</p>
