ED at Brown vs. EA at Georgetown SFS???

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I honestly like both of these schools the same. I'm applying to others, but none for early admission, and I'm pretty sure I would attend either of these above the others. At which school would I have a better chance in early admissions? </p>

<p>White Hispanic male (half of my family from South America, perhaps URM?)
Middle income bracket (less than 100K)
Award-winning public school in Broward County, Florida</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0, unweighted, all A's since 8th grade. 5.25, weighted (with APs and honors)</p>

<p>Ranked 3 out of 523</p>

<p>Will have taken 16 AP tests upon graduation
Scores so far:
5-AP Calculus AB
5-AP World History
5-AP U.S. History
5-AP English Language and Composition
4-AP Statistics
4-AP Environmental Science
4-AP Spanish Language
4-AP Calculus BC</p>

<p>SAT Scores: taken twice, best score 2250, not superscored
Math: 720
Critical Reading: 770
Writing: 760</p>

<p>SAT II's:
Math II: 730
U.S. History: 770
Spanish: 700
(RETAKING Math and Spanish)</p>

<p>Extra-curricular activities:
400+ service hours, obtained from volunteering at the local hospital and summer camps
3-year member of Debate, Vice President and Co-captain
Founder and President of the school Chess Club (3 years)
National Honor Society
Project coordinator of Science Club (1 year)
Founded a campaign support group for Barack Obama's presidential campaign, notified members of events, campain bulletins, etc. ... actively campaigned and participated in campaign events</p>

<p>Awards/Honors:
National AP Scholar
National Merit Semifinalist (I think)
National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar (I think)
A few school AP awards, science fair, essay contests, etc.</p>

<p>Having trouble with my essay so far, so I'm not so sure about that ...</p>

<p>Brutal honesty, at which of these schools (if any) would be more likely to accept me? I know I'm a long shot at both but I'm aiming high because I don't like the south =)</p>

<p>If you are hispanic, you are in great shape. I would not waste an ED on brown if i were u and apply EA to a school and apply to several schools RD and keep your options open as you will definitely get into a good share of schools.</p>

<p>I would do ED at Brown because if you apply RD, the school will prob think that you are thinking of a school of higher caliber (HYP) and might waitlist you. Either one is good, however.</p>
