ED at Cornell!!

<p>I am sitting for my SATII this nov... will that hurt my application if i want to apply in ED??
Plzzzzz help,</p>

<p>Aren’t subject tests available in Asia for the October test date?</p>

i wanna give my stats too.
i am an international student.
grades: 3 A* and one A(maths, bio, phy and chem respectively).
ranking : top 1% in class
SATI : maths 780, Cr 640, Wr 690
Sat II: math2 750, physics 790</p>

<p>• represented my country in Global Youth Summit, arranged by Global Changemakers in association with British Council , on youth leadership and activism, Nov 2009, London.
• Part of Youth Forum Jan-Dec 2009. It is one of the programs of Today’s Youth Asia. It is a discussion forum for youths, where we were taught about public speaking, leadership, group works etc. We were also introduced to many distinguished personalities who have been working for the welfare of many people.</p>

<p>Academic Achievements:
• Awarded for securing highest marks(100%) in national level exam in grade 10.
• Have received scholarship from high school in the form of 25% waiver on tutuion fees , Oct 2008- June 2010.</p>

<p>Leadership Experiences:.
• Captain and vice captain of houses.
• Executive member of Science Club and Environment Club.
• Coordinated T.T match during sports Week 2009 in my high school.
• Initiated " One Rupee Campaign" in Youth forum.
• Class representative of the Almuni assotiation of my school… So have major role to maintain networking with friends and to organize the monthly discussion session as well as social service programs like Blood Donation and Awareness Campaign.</p>

<p>Experiences:
• Volunteered as a part time teacher in government school for 2 months.There I volunteered as Mathematics and English teacher of grade 4-6.<br>
• Currently working as assistant teacher at my previous high school.</p>

<p>BTW i did A- levels.</p>

<p>You dont need to do your SAT IIs again. You already have really good scores and you only need two.
Retake the SAT I until you feel satisfied with your score.</p>

<p>You have a good chance. Believe me. Your Math+CR is 1420. They dont look at your writing score</p>
