ED at Duke

I've posted before but here's an updated due to the time of the year.

Academically
I'm a junior at the best academic school in the state (DE)
I have a 4.03 cumulative waited GPA (3.9 unweighted)
SAT Reading-730
SAT Math-750
SAT Writing-630 (ouch)
SAT II Chemistry-710
SAT II Math IIC-700
total-2110

I'm retaking both SAT II's in october as well as physics

AP Courses
AP Calculus AB-5
AP Calculus BC-5
AP Chemistry-4

I've played lacrosse and have run cross country since sophomore year. I've won two gavels in Model UN, I have around 30 hours of community service at various places throughout my high school career, and I am part of the 3rd JET
TEAMS engineering team in the state and 4th in the nation. I've also participated in the University of Delaware's (local university) Summer College Program. Otherwise my extra-curricular activities aren't spectacular but have been time-consuming.

At UD's Summer College:
Freshman composition: A
World Religions: B+

I plan on taking these courses next year:
AP Physics
University of Delaware's Calculus 3 (for one semester)
University of Delaware's Differential Equations (second semester)
Drexel University's Intro to the Art of Engineering
AP Economics
World Lit
AP Gove/poli sci

All honors or AP

I plan to major in Thanks for your input, hopefully i can make the class of '10 early decision.

So are you a rising junior or a rising senior...?

i'm class of '06

eh? you're not stellar, itd be random either way. you're like in the range but there is nothing special about you. id give it a shot but i would be surprised if you did OR didnt get in. its just that random. you're not a shoo-in or an automatic reject. id lean toward rejection just bc you have NO hooks and crappy ECs, but its ED so who knows? good luck

What is your class rank?

As it stands, you have a chance.

I'm in the top percentile. Our school doesn't tell rank or it would get too competitive. However we do give colleges a percentage of kids above 4.0, 3.5...

I realize that my EC's aren't too spectacular. Thanks for your opinions.

bump any other opinions would be greatly appreciated
