Letters of Rec: 1 from my AP Physics C teacher and 1 from my AP Comp sci teacher, both I think were fairly positive.
In my essay I wrote about how I have ADD and my struggle of overcoming it in order to do well in school. Other people said it was pretty good.

Rice does not superscore ACT AFAIK, if your highest comp is 33, you have a 33. When I last looked at the recent admission stats seemed that was at the 25th percentile. Are you full frieght or asking for aid?

^Rice is need-blind.

Hi, do I get to opt out of aid (we submitted the aid application though) and increase the chance of admission with 33 ACT. Thanks in advance.

@Celpra If you are a domestic student, Rice is need blind. So your ability to pay will not impact your admissions chances at all.

If you are international student, Rice’s admission and financial aid policy is need aware - meaning, the amount of financial aid that an international student needs is taken into consideration when admission decisions are being made. See https://financialaid.rice.edu/international-students for more information.

I’m asking for aid

I sent them two act scores, one was a 34 and the other was a 33
34 ACT:
31 English
34 Math
34 Reading
36 Science
Writing 9

33 ACT:
35 English
31 Math
34 Reading
31 Science

So do I have a chance?
