<p>I love Brown, but I wanted to keep my options open if i didn't get in ED to the PLME...
some people have said that this is a negative, but my friend last year applied ED and answered No also, and she got accepted...so I really don't know

<p>Like Willy said, who knows if there's any influence on the outcome, but Brown truly is my first choice school (even without that program) so I figured it couldn't hurt to say so one more time. The PLME is also the only combined program that I have applied to or plan to apply to, as I'm more concerned about the fit of the school as an undergrad than a program like that. If I had not completely loved Brown before knowing about the PLME, I don't think I would have locked myself in. Friday it is.</p>

<p>I said yes because getting into PLME is quite difficult. Brown is my first choice anyway so I don't care if I am "bound" to go there or not.</p>
