@terrier333 oh no way! That’s cool! Are you affected at all by the fires? School was cancelled today and tomorrow for me because the air quality in Santa Barbara was classified as hazardous and its in state of emergency. The fire is about 15 miles away from me.
Ok guys like I said earlier in the thread. Unlikely we hear back tomorrow but based on last years trend I believe like 80% or higher of a chance we get it on monday or tuesday around 2 pm.
@terrier333 @Marianoavila I live in ca too! I havent said much on this forum but I check it everyday haha. I live in the south bay (like the beach cities)
@Marianoavila So its a weird situation. I only needed two classes to graduate my senior year and my high school didnt have a lot of IP, AP or College courses that interested me or went towards my major. So instead im in The Clarkson School, a dual enrollment program at Clarkson University. Im still a senior in high school AND a fully matriculated freshmen. I live on campus, attend classes, im in sports and clubs too. the First Year classes the Clarkson makes their incoming freshmen take go towards my HS diploma and I will be graduating a half year early with 42 College credits.

@Marianoavila aw that’s crazy, Stay safe! Fortunately, I’m not super close to the fires but my air quality is still effected because the winds bring it here. Weirdly our school hasn’t mentioned closing or anything due to air quality.

@terrier333 yeah its really crazy! The fire is super close to the Edison power plant for my city and if it gets burned, we will be without power for days. A few days ago the whole cities power went out from 10pm-3am. It was really scary because no lights were on AT ALL. It looked like the those movies when the world ends haha

@terrier333 @Marianoavila yeah, Danielle Bailey is my rep. my school is still opened but sports practices were cancelled for the week cus of air quality and they want us to stay inside as much as possible
@sarahc7327 Danielle is so nice! I met with her for coffee one time and we really got along. I also met with her when i visited BU
@Marianoavila I’m so jealous! I talked to her twice at my school and emailed her a few times but never got to really have a conversation with her 
she was super nice to me though!
